The Softball Club had a fantastic year, both in results and culture. With four teams spread across the 3 divisions of the Melbourne Softball Association competition, MUSC had a great mix of experienced players and newbies at the club - it was brilliant to see the number of juniors grow. The MUSC Rats were runner ups in the B-Grade which was a fantastic result. The MUSC Rats saw a number of juniors and those still in high-school join, with a number of these players going on to represent in State Teams. The Wolves, Sharks and Wombats all made their respective semi-finals. The year was marked by a conscious effort to build team and club culture with great feedback affirming the success of this - the Club looks forward to continuing this momentum next year.
