The Squash Club had a productive year of growth. We continued to implement and develop programs that (re)introduced large numbers of players to the sport, especially women,with focussed Learn to Play (coaching) sessions and the introduction of regular women’s social squash. The Club grew the number of pennant players and competition teams, claiming 5 pennant championships and 8 second place finishes. Finally, the Club revamped its Club Championship tournament to increase student, social and female member engagement. The tournament was a resounding success and a key step in transitioning members into competition.
