The Squash Club had aproductive year of growth. Tcontinued to implement and develop programs that(re)introduced large numbers of players to the sport, especially women, withfocused Learn to Play (coaching) sessions and the introduction of regularwomen’s social squash. The Club expanded the number of pennant players andcompetition teams, claiming both 1st and 2nd place finishes in the State MMPLeague, as well as 3 pennant championships and 4 second-place finishes in SSL.Club members are slowly starting to branch out, competing not only in pennantleagues but also at local graded tournaments run by Squash & RacquetballVictoria (SRV). Factoring this, Club members have performed extremely well inSRV tournaents with notable wins in both the Open and Graded divisions byunique club members.  

‍Finally, the Club revamped its Club Championship tournament to increasestudent, social, and female member engagement. Besides that, the Club was ableto obtain sponsorship from Bendigo Bank for the Club Championships tournamentand is looking forward to fostering our relationship with Bendigo Bank foryears to come. Overall, the tournament was a resounding success and a key stepin transitioning members into competition.
