The Surfriders Club had an extremely successful year achieving its key aim of revamping the club supply of 28 beginner surfboards and 30 wetsuits. Team building activities and ‘retreat’ style camps were highlights for participants with all surf camps and social events sold out. The Club collaborated with several clubs, culminating in an end of year celebration with free bands, food and beverages for members as a thank you for their commitment. The Club is aiming to develop the competitive aspect of surfing, with the supporting of recruitment for students to attend UniNationals Surfing.
