The Wushu Kung Fu Club has again focused on membership recruitment to some success. The Club secured an equipment grant that will be  used to renew ageing and broken equipment, and hopes to engage in more grants  in 2026. The Club has continued to engage in the wider Wushu and martial arts  community, participating in cross-training with Monash and RMIT Wushu, the  annual martial arts camp with MU Karate and RHEE Taekwondo, and the annual  WTQA festival. Desiring an opportunity for higher-level competition, MUWK is  exploring participation in the nationally and internationally recognised Wushu body in Australia, KWA.
